Hello & Welcome!

I am an abstract expressionist painter inspired by the places, memories, and experiences that have shaped my life.

For more than two decades, I worked as a professional artist, creating and exhibiting original paintings that found homes with collectors throughout Northern California.

Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, I build my paintings through layers of color, texture, and expressive brushwork, seeking to capture not the appearance of a place, but the emotions, colors and memories it evokes.

Today, I create original paintings primarily for friends, family, and occasional commissions, but creativity remains at the center of everything I do.

This passion has inspired the launch of my new venture, Art Tours by the Sea designed to introduce visitors and art lovers to the remarkable artists, studios, and creative communities that make our coastal towns so special.

Through these curated experiences, guests have the opportunity to meet artists, visit working studios, engage in creative conversations, and discover how the beauty of our coastal communities continues to inspire the art created here.

Inaugural tours begin August 2026. Please contact me for more information or to pre-book tours!

ARTIST PORTFOLIO

The paintings featured on this site are a small collection selected from the many hundreds of works I created over the years. I share them as examples of my artistic style and the places and memories that inspired them.

All of the paintings shown have been sold and now reside in private collections.

My paintings are inspired by places I have visited. I often build my work through multiple layers, painting over earlier passages to create rich texture and depth — an approach that mirrors the layered nature of memory itself.

Throughout this site, you can learn more about these places and explore paintings inspired by the experiences, memories, and impressions they left behind.
